Magic bottle – potassium permanganate reduces sugar to oxidate in distilled water. When shaken it changes colour.
Stay Puft – marshmallow expands due to an absence of air in the vacuum chamber
Ice to Fire – calcium carbide granuals reacts with the ice water to create a etylene gas which is flammable.
Elephant toothpaste – yeast acts as a catalyst to remove oxygen from hydrogen peroxide. The experiment creates a reaction called an exothermic reaction.
Copper to gold – copper is dipped in sodium zincade then coated in zinc. When heated the copper forms an alloy of brass which appears gold in colour.

Pretty impressive Ethan. I’m going to remove your post as it is so good and detailed, you kind of killed it for everyone else! You were just off on the colour changing bottle, but you described another good demo called ‘blue bottle’ well done. Very impressive.
